On the 19th and 21st of January 2021, GALATEA will organise 4 online Innovation Clubs, one per project's main domain: Smart Ship, Smart Port, Smart Shipyard and Maritime Surveillance (You will find more information on the clubs in the Agenda)
What is an Innovation Club?
Innovations Clubs aims at gathering groups of SMEs around thematic tables. On each thematic table and with the support of a Design Thinking methodology, SMEs will have the opportunity to meet and to collaborate with others in order to define the best possible solutions to GALATEA's Challenges.
Where will it take place?
The Innovation Clubs will be organised online to allow SMEs from different parts of Europe to exchange with ease. For this all participants will have the chance to gather "virtually" on SOFA, an online collaboration workplace.
Through the software, participants will be able to sit virtually on tables and to collaborate via video-chat and using the tools at their disposal (white boards, sticky notes, possibility to import local files, and many more options).
What are the objectives of Innovation Clubs?
The aim of GALATEA through its Innovation Clubs, is to offer the opportunity to participants to collaborate with potential business partners that are situated in other EU countries and working on different sectors. In addition of strengthening the links of the SME community of Europe GALATEA aims as well to prepare potential applicants to its Open call that will be launched on January 27th 2021.
